Glacier has a dark purple pearlescent tint, while recruit is just blue.

I think we need some snow to truly express that glacier visor. Or some noobs with 0.14 kd to make that recruit visor shine. All in all, this isn’t a fair comparison without what I said above. Having the participants in a scouthog would be preferred.

I’d like to see two spartans, each wearing on of these visors out on the battlefield. Then we have to pick which one is which.
