I think we all agree we want halo 4 to be based off of halo 1 and halo 2. We do not want to see ANYTHING from Reach. No need for arguments here. Just a simple yes or no post is enough. If you agree post yes, disagree post no.

What about halo 3 …? Halo 3 and halo 2 are the really good games, and so is Halo 1, but mostly Nostalgia. With the game reach, they wanted the halo players to gain the feel they got 10 years ago. Halo:Reach is based of Halo 1 but the term ‘‘skill’’ has a much smaller role.

No, “WE” don’t all agree “we” want Halo 4 to be based off of Halo 1 and 2.
You don’t want to see ANYTHING from Halo: Read? That means:
No theater.
No Firefight.
None of the Gametypes in the game.
No (more) balanced weapons
No to-date graphics.
No fleshed out customization for settings.
No character customization.
And much more.
well a halo 1/2/3 mix would be perfect because I would prefer halo 4 not to be a glitch and bad physics fest (like halo 2 and parts of halo1) but all games are great and combining them will make halo 4 perfect but it still should be totaly new and not a copy paste like C.O.D.
Well Reach was based off of Halo 1 with just some stuff added… So you know… That didn’t turn out as well has some fans have hoped.
In plus, at this point everything gameplay-wise will pretty much already be set in stone, not much point demanding that 343i make it more like one game or another.
I would say aspects from halos 1-3 that plus all of the action and in-your-face play style of reach along with the slower combatstyle and exploreation of halo1 in some parts of the campaign. going on that, some unexpected plot-twists twards the end of the campaign, and something absolutely shocking/devastating for the final cutscene that will want you to wish halo5 was released tomorrow morning.
