So we finally got the gameplay reveal today for Halo Infinite and like many of you, I was excited to see what we were getting and truth be told I am still excited because the demo they showed us did give me vibes from older Halo games like the first three and even Reach and 4. HOWEVER like I said this was indeed a Demo hence why graphics and lighting weren’t exactly “next-gen”. A good example of this is with Halo 5 Beta when it came out many people didn’t like the way it looked as shown in the link below. Do I think Halo Infinite will look like this at launch? Most likely not but there are some things that I agree with most that should get looked at such as the Brute Faces as they look way too much like Reach Brutes.
Now granted some things we saw today were very good signs. Elites actually look like Elites again and even sound like them, Jackals are back to what they looked like from Halo 2 to Halo Reach and Grunts also look good. The AR, BR, and Energy Sword look very nice and some of the new weapons do look good is well. As of right now, we don’t know when it’s coming out and we don’t know about a Beta we can play. Chances are we might have already played it if it wasn’t for the pandemic right now but here is hoping that the next gameplay we see improves on some things that some people were not pleased with.
