-grenades bounce, rather than explode on impact. Allows for shots around corners and behind cover.
Oni Scout Hog
-heavy armor.
Oni Warthog
-heavy armor.
-high explosive chain gun rounds. Small area of effect damage, but heavy damage to direct hits.
-chain gun does not over heat.
Oni Gauss Hog
-heavy armor.
-faster rate of fire.
-small cluster bomb effect at point of shell impact.
Oni Rocket Hog
-heavy armor.
-can lock on to ground and air targets.
Oni Scorpion
-heavy armor.
-increased (read->super fast!) rate of fire for tank cannon.
-heavy damage shell.
Oni Mantis
-heavy armor.
-rockets lock on to air and ground targets.
-individually locked rockets.
Ghost Ultra
-heavy armor.
-high damage explosive plasma rounds. Heavy damage for direct hits, and a small area of effect damage radius.
-explosive rounds have force push to them, effecting the movement of a target who gets hit.
-longer boost energy bar.
Wraith Ultra
-heavy armor.
-straighter projectile arc (shot will have less parabolic drop than regular wraith).
-heavy damage plasma blast, with a cluster bomb effect at point of impact.
Banshee Ultra
-heavy armor.
-more shield (still little enough that it doesn’t take long for direct armor damage).
-faster banshee bomb reload.
-cluster bomb effect from banshee bomb at point of impact.
Phaeton
-hover ability.
-hard light round machine cannon.
-hard light rocket barrage.
-phase in-out dodge move.
Because some of the vehicle descriptions just say "upgraded armament, " I thought it would be nice to have an easily accessible list of all the vehicle traits, that doesn’t require opening multiple links. This is all based off my own in game experience, with a little bit coming from perusing the forums.
I’ve only used the Oni Rocket hog once, so any more information on that would be nice.
I also don’t know things like whether or not the oni scorpions gunner seat chain gun over heats. Same with the wraith ultra gunners plasma cannon.
Any experience anyone has with the Oni Mantis would be great! I’ve only read about it online, I’ve never gotten to use it. I put what I read, but it honestly doesn’t make a lot of sense to me…
