Can we stop arguing on that thread… you know which one I’m talking about. Its going nowhere, and a vote probably will show how each side is faring, much more than that horrible thread.

Why not have both? Why does everyone believe that there is two sides to sprinting? It’s not mandatory to sprint…
You can take off sprint in customs (or was it just clamber?).

Oh boy at 50/50… To the two above me… I literally created a poll, just so we didn’t have a discussion about it. The arguments can go onto that awful thread.
Spring is neither “a necessary feature” nor a “poor feature”. With the way sprint has been balanced in Halo 5 (slowdown when shot before reaching “max speed”, no shield recharge while sprinting), there’s no distinct advantage to sprinting besides “going faster”. Taking it out wouldn’t actually change all that much besides slowing the game down… a lot. Sometimes sprinting can actually result in a loss that wouldn’t have otherwise happened, such as if you mindlessly sprint around the map and aren’t able to ready your weapon in time.
I don’t see the problem. Take it out, nothing really changes. You just go slower. More fights would end with an actual death, rather than someone just creeping away with their lives, but the opposite would happen too; people wouldn’t lose fights because they were shot while sprinting, but would instead fire back immediately and maybe walk away with the kill.
That’s really my ultimate argument regarding it: there’s no distinct advantage to using it.
