Lets Have NEW Bosses - Any Suggestions?

We should have new bosses - especially ultra bosses for Warzone. It shouldn’t be Warden Eternal all the time (Although he is epic).

How about a Scarab as a boss on a new Warzone map?

Scarab isn’t in the game though, and it’d be a little hard to add in more than likely. Kraken maybe?

We need to have a Metropolis like map with a Scarab boss, a map on the brute home world with a Tartarus boss, and a High Charity map with Gravemind as a boss.

NO343, but…have another forerunner construct, and that could work… 343 was h1’s boss and h3’s.

Also, Scarab boss would be fun… Scarab, Lich (barely used in h4), Forerunner Keyship…could you imagine trying to sprint your way through a falling keyship, hacking data nodes so you could eventually unlock the hangars (forerunner, human, and covie tech there), and then have a crazy air battle outside? Could be an awesome mix of breakout and warzone. ^^ Could we TM this as Speed Invasion? ^^

I’ve seen this in another post. I agree, but those characters are dead. They could do this with different names and skins. Also I like both the scarab, kraken, and monitor idea. As long as, it isn’t the monitor from campaign. I liked her demeanor. How about a pack of skirmishers(with over shields) there’s a challenge for you. If the didact wasn’t dead there would be potential there too. Maybe a soldier lead warthog(or 2) if they added any kind of boss, it would have to make sense to where the saga is at momentarily. I personally want level like a large scale midship. For example, map inside a cargo bay of a covent tell cruiser, infinity, or in an orbital mac gun. This could lead to bosses that you would have to leave the ship to kill. Idk, those are some snowball ideas lol but could be fun.

I’ve thought about it. Palmer could say something like “rogue spartans are attacking the [insert map location]”
There could be like 5 all black spartans, with ARs and BRs, but one could be a legendary boss in a mantis or a scorpion.

Legendary bosses in all four Warzone maps:

  • Five Warden Eternals
  • Three Banshees (Captain Wamik, Baron S’Roar, Pilot 'Dalamen)
  • Two Knights (Commander Lochagos, Knight Strategos)
  • One Wraith (Tankmaster Rok)
  • One Phaeton (Captain Hestro)

Ideas for new unique bosses:

  • Jul 'Mdama: appear early in the game, wields an energy sword, has active camo, very aggressive and lots of minions to give support.
  • A Jackal with a beam rifle. Put him in a high, inaccessible place and make him appear when people have REQ level 3-5.
  • One gigantic Hunter. Hunters are made of those alien worms, and each two Hunters in fact make one colony. Why not assemble the hole colony in one single hunter twice the size?
  • A Phantom

Whyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

One idea I had was when the score for the leading team reaches 500 points one randomly selected player on each team becomes the target for a group of Sangheili assassins armed with active camo White Scar’s and Vorpal talon’s (players would be unable to pick these up).

They and their team are notified 30 seconds in advance that they are becoming the target however the enemy team’s designated target is not marked as such.

Once the assassins spawn (50 ft away minimum from the target) from they attempt to track down and kill the target. If and only if the target outlived the assassins their team would be awarded 150vp but if the target was killed by any means those points would be void. Assassin’s targeting the enemy team would be marked as friendly to avoid confusion.

Obviously an easy solution would be to hide inside a base so to combat this ALL bases would be off limits for the target players until either they died or the assassins were killed.

I don’t even know if this would be possible to code it was just an idea I had one day when I was bored at work.
