What’s the next level of Forge and Customs? Halo Reach gave us a really nice advanced forge coupled with a decent amount of custom options. However Halo 4 needs to make Halo 3 and Reach seem like babies.
My idea is having a Mod/Create tool for Halo 4. It would be like an advanced Forge Mode that could work for CAMPAIGN and Multiplayer. It would give players insane amount of options and ways to change there game.
Some ideas I have
1-Voice Recordings: Able to record sounds and voices and bind them to things. For example you could create dialouge for the troops. Or if a player was good enough make your own weapon sounds.
2-Textures and Colors: Able to change the textures of some areas. Like turning a gray wall into a blue wall. Or adding some grass to something to make it look older
3-Weapon (nade too) Damage: Pretty simple. Each gun has Armor damage and Health damage. You can now choose how much each gun does. You can also add elements such as “Stun, Drain, Vampire and Sound F/X” [WORKS FOR VEHICLE GUNS AS WELL]
4-Vehicle Control: Controls speed, steering, hover rate, and such. For example for the LOLZ you can make a ghost hover 2x more then it should, making it impossible to board and even harder to control. Or make a warthog go so fast it’s a racecar (Race anyone
5-(SP/FF only): Dropship control. You can control where and how many (To a limit of course) dropships come in. From allies and enemies. So you can create that perfect battle you’ve always wanted.
In the end
Well hey if 343 wants to improve the options and such for Halo 4 it wouldn’t be a bad idea to give us this, maybe even one or two of these. I’d like to create my own missions. Think of the possible user and community creations with this?
For example you could make your own campaign, With your own voices, dialogues and story. You could make a modern day Halo game or a Star Wars clone game. Plus the M.P options could balance a game or make some insane customs.
