Halo 4 is a good game.

343i is doing the best they can to satisfy EVERYONE.
90% of the complainers are competitive players.
80% of those competitive players played halo 3 competitively.
35% of the casual players think halo 4 is the best game ever.
about 1 in 6 halo players are truly “competitive”
people still continue to complain about virtually EVERY aspect of the game.
80% of the MLG community is dissatisfied with Halo 4.
343 claims to be open to CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM in making changes to halo 4.
343 wants to satisfy the casual AND competitive players.
the competitive players are chasing the casual players away from the game.
the competitive players feel that halo 3 is the best game ever.
even if 343 changed something that seemed to annoy the competitive players, they find something new to complain about.
IMO, the competitive players will NEVER be satisfied with Halo 4.
If the current competitive community doesn’t like the game, and probably will NEVER like the game, THEN THEY SHOULDN’T PLAY THE GAME. It is quite simple, if you don’t like a game, and all you do is complain about it, DONT PLAY IT.
The competitive community wants to flip this game upside down, which most of the casual players will dislike. once again, only 1 out of 6 halo players are competitive, so that means if they get their way, they will displease 5/6 of the fanbase.So, do me and the rest of the people who are tired of complaining a favor, either calm down and accept halo 4 for what it is going to be, or -Yoink- halo 4 nuff said. feel free to post as much disagreement/hatred as you want; better yet, actually listen to what i am saying and go play whatever game YOU think is your favorite.

I am on the forums so much because I love halo 4 so much but I think it can be better so that is why I show my complaints. Look the easiest way to sastisfy everyone is to have a social and competitive sections (like in halo 3) with social having Infinity stuff and competitive being classic no loadouts, no AAs, no ordnance and no random weapon spawns
343 did in fact try their hardest, and the reason why so many complaints is due to a lack of something to do.Honestly if your complaining about a game which you did not or even help to create you have no right to tell them they did a horrible job.If you can make halo 4 better then go to college get a degree in game design and apply to work in 343 and help make the game better otherwise… shush.The only thing that needs serious work is the automated system that bans people due to how unreliable it can get, for example:mic bans…some kid can report you because you might have more kills than him in spartan ops and hence gets mad (im amazed ive never had a single ban yet which is surprising considering that the majority of people playing halo are immature, old and young).It is shocking that people are complaining so much and saying halo 4 sucks and yet still play which proves that they are just bored in life and actual enjoy the game otherwise they would not play it.If 343 nerfed and did everything everyone wanted halo 4 would have no flavor and become tasteless.A high possibility for 343’s silence is likely due to disappointment after finding out that the majority of the halo fanbase is nothing but immature brats who expect to get everything they want and if not cry about it.I would release halo 5 and make it look like doom 1 which is equal to B-slapping them in the face which would be true justice and then after they gained some sense make the real halo 5 when it would be appreciated… i can wait a couple more years.I personally thought halo 3 PvP was needless to say boring due to all the gun nerfs because of Bungie giving in the their complaining.I just hope 343 has not lost their motivation after everyones whining.To the people than can do nothing but complain and not give proper suggestions and ideas i think you are just dirt that needs to be swept aside so that we supportive fans can walk on a clean surface.

Even though Halo 3 was still going strong years after its release.
It’s not even that hard. All you have to do is segregate the two types of players with different playlists. Really, really simple solution.

Most competitive players preferred Halo 1 and Halo 2 over Halo 3.
Being Competitive means actively or passively playing to win, so the entire community who plays the game is competitive. Even those who you label competitive, who actively play to win the game make up more than 1/6 of the community
Most competitive players acknowledge that the game has a good core and needs improvement
Competitive players can be satisfied. Most of them were with Halo 1, 2, and 3
A lot of suggestions from the competitive community will benefit casual players. Ranked vs. Social, a Boltshot nerf, sandbox rebalancing, more fun maps, more gametypes, JIP fixes or removal
Halo 4 has about an average of 200,000 on at a time, and it’s NEW.
Halo 3 in the first 2 years had an average of 500,000+
That tells me that most of the Halo fans ARE competitive, considering Halo 4 just isn’t anywhere near as competitive as Halo 3. Most of the competitive players have left the Halo series since Halo 3 though.
Wow…someone’s feeling a little preachy. Sorry but no; 343 has left us hanging for a while now, and if this is their BEST, they’re too inadequate for a title like Halo that deserves the best the industry has to offer.
They can’t satisfy everyone, I feel like the basic solution is to add more playlist and add a skill rank in a MLG playlist for competitives.

You are telling me no causal players are complaining about gametypes like, race Juggernaut and assault being stripped from the game completely?
No causal players are complaining about the destruction of infection due to the lack of ability to really customize flood settings?
Do you understand how limited matchmaking is compared to any other halo?
Halo 3 has more playlists 4 years after launch than halo 4 does at launch.
Oh, and btw, all of those playlists have multiple gametypes, unlike in halo 4
