Let's fix the sandbox.

I’m just going to make this brief. (I am NOT against having weapons in customs and campaign that do similar things)

DMR and BR are too similar. Remove DMR. BR stays strong at mid range and suppresses at long.
Increase kill time by spacing time between shots. It’s pacing should make it have a longer kill time than AR at close range slightly. AR and BR should be evenly matched at mid only if the AR user can burst his shots well and not rush into the open before covering distance.

SMG and AR are too similar. Remove SMG. AR can stay close to it’s original strength but killtimes across the board need to be higher so debuff damage slightly. Make it a suppressor at mid range and strong at close. Useless at long. (AR is just too strong for a game with no aim assist it promotes dominance even at mid)

Pistol is redundant and essentially just not cutting it by being different enough. I am proposing this. Make it a three shot kill with projectile shots and high shot lead. Spread similar to Halo: CE (imagine it’s skill to use when people are sprinting and thrusting?)
Why:
People always talk about how BR’s are too dominant and are all anyone plays well if you want more variety buff pistol to it’s glory days and let it be a strong primary with high skill usage. Pistol starts will be it’s own gametype meaning a different experience to enjoy other than BR starts. Pistols will either be a rare map pick up (useful one) or just up to a custom gamers choice whether they put them down or not.

Sniper is a power weapon and it’s formula works too well to change. (tweaking from Halo to Halo happens and is fine)
Remove the delay in scoping. This is the one weapon that is true to ADS fashion by out right DELAYING the scope in alongside an animation. Also in general remove accurracy boost when scoping in for all weapons. Boosted distance effectivity is already good enough.

New legendary sword? Is this just for the map? If not then remove the focused aim on it. It is already incredibly strong in the right hands with thrust and sprint. If it’s map exclusive it can stay since I’m sure the original sword is map forgeable.

I honestly find the sandbox great in this game. Though I am honestly looking at this as a whole new game, rather than an addition to the halo franchise. I do not believe this is how the new Halo should have been made, yet I find this game very fun and I am just lying to myself and saying it is a different game.

It’s not garbage but it can be improved.

It adds variety to the game and both weapons handle differently
