Lets be serious: Kill Thieves

Is it me or does it get to you when your team is neck and neck with the enemy teams score and you go to kill warden eternal and your team does almost all the damage but all of a sudden an enemy sniper gets a lucky shot off and finishes him and gets there team the win…
I want to hear your thoughts and i want 343 to read our post and fix this.

Ive done it before.
I like it makes people rage.
But it does need to be addressed.

I think that it gives the kill to the person who does the most damage. Although, I could be wrong.

Game is working as intended and your team needed to scout out the surroundings more to clear the enemy from having that opportunity.

I feel it should be balanced a little more.

Yes it’s annoying, that the enemy can get the kill by just getting the final shot. But then it’s up to your team to A) Do damage to the boss and B) Ensure there are no players from the enemy team around to steal that kill.

That being said, there should be a balance between total damage done and final damage done. You would have to meet the lower threshold of either in order to register the kill for your team.

Teams should work to prevent this from occurring. It is part of the game. Is it frustrating? Yes, but that is what happens when one team does not have the area secure while fighting the boss.

Doesn’t work. No alternate routes towards the enemy team.

Bosses are just shoved in corners and you both attack from the front.

Not really, it seems more like the game doesn’t favour players with skill, let’s say 1 random guy on the opposite team get’s a lucky 1 shot when the other team is the one that practically killed it mostly then the skilled players get’s time wasted, even then killing a legendary should be shared points…depending on how much damage each team does on the AI.

Yes this is one of the top debates for warzone. The percentage of the kill should count toward the percentage of the points. If you do 90% of the damage, you should get 90% of the points.

Terrible argument as most of the 150 point bosses are out in the open. Dang we should have scouted the whole map.

Working as intended, its fun having little camp out groups waiting in the bushes for the other team to waken Hestro guy’s phaton so we can steal the kill.

Just learn to watch your surroundings more.

Literally the only 150 point guys that have easily blockable paths are on Stormbreak - The boss in the fortress and Warden Eternal at the side path. Every other boss is out in the open.

Its warzone, its not meant to be taken that seriously. Spawn, blow chit up, die. Not a care in the world.

Happened to my team last night. We had 99% of a kill on the phaeton, 4-5 vehicles killing him… Then a stray enemy tank comes along and take it out to ensure the win.
Was I mad? Yes. Do I hate? No.

Right now, the way the req are handled, there’s a lot more Snowballing than there is SeeSawing on the battlefield. I think the better solution is to throw more low and medium targets on the field at all times, Banshee and Ghost units mostly, to distract the teams overall more and keep them fighting for more chunks instead of for bases where disproportion in team skill/communication level creates quite the containment.

Well said. Warzone is a goof off mode. I play it when I want to mix things up from an arena binge or need a good chunk of req points. Waiting on that btb…

Love the discussions guys keep it up also my opinion they should put a point zone where Bosses can be killed to get points you could still damage from afar but can’t get points unless their in the zone its practical.
