Lets be honest - Banshees need a cooldown

Banshees need a cool down period between when they can use the maneuver button again. It’s borderline cheating to see a banshee flipping constantly which makes small arms fire extremely difficult and any lockon weapons impossible.

And knowing this community, I’m sure there is going to be a deluge of people saying they take banshees out “all the time” but I’m hoping for a little bit of honesty here. It doesn’t need a buff/nerf for the weapons but the sky dancing banshee needs to go.

It doesn’t need to be any weaker than it already is.

Yeah I had a full team of 12 fighting one banshee ultra that just spammed banshee bombs and the front flip, and it took forever like at least 5 minutes, the phaeton has a cooldown I think the banshee needs one too.

Banshee roll never had any cooldown? So I don’t see why one should be added.

Edit1: Some are actually really good at it, but have you try shot, roll, shoot, roll, etc and be accurate? Speaking for myself I can’t use this strategy and I’ve actually only seen a few that are good at it.

You’re not seeing the whole picture. You’re just seeing it as how hard it is for you to hit Banshees.

A Banshee pilot who does nothing but constantly flip around is doing literally nothing but creating a distraction. They can’t attack, and they can’t flee.

I dunno; Banshees are already pretty weak as is. Only the Ultra Banshee is worth it’s salt.

When it flips, there’s a period of which it CAN’T do ANYTHING; It last for about 1 second. Learn to time it and laser it/railgun it. Laser takes about 1.5-2.5 seconds to charge up, railgun, depending on which one you are using, takes less than a second to 1.5 seconds, or if you use a arc light (this gun PUMPS/ rapes ALL vehicles) you can time it at anytime since you can hold the charge up.
Don’t use rockets, as soon as the banshee flips, the auto lock on (even when fired) losing the tracking. How do I know this? I tested it out with some friends, and we managed to manipulate the rocket so it would redirect and hit the guy who shot the rocket. It’s an insane trick and it’s something that btb people have been doing since h2 to dodge rockets.
LASER AND RAILGUN = DEAD BANSHEE If you’re struggling keep trying and learn the timing.

Just add in 3 to 5 types of OP H3 & H2A Hornets, 2 OP Phaeton variants and some Falcon variants then Banshees would be blown out of the air with ease.

It’s not often but I’ve been in games where a very good banshee pilot can rake in over a 100 kills a game. It never stops flipping and making impossible shots. And I’m talking about the standard banshee. How they do it I have no idea but it’s a thing of deadly beauty. You have no time to charge your splaser, railgun or plasma gun much less get a bead on it. Since it happens so rarely I think the banshee is fine as is.

lol speaking of which we did that to an untra the other day had like 6 guys all over it and had it hijacked before it could move

I personally think the banshee should just constantly barrel roll at all times like I see those pros with Achilles do.

They get destroyed very quickly when they do that because they become very predictable.

You need a really really good aim for that since flips take off lock ons, I wasted 2 whole plasma pistols because it broke off the lock on mid way there
