First off, this trailer has gotten me really excited about the game. I love the direction it’s heading along with the music.
To reduce the amount of threads being created in here about the trailer, let’s talk about the trailer in here like in my reveal trailer thread.
I have noticed some things in the trailer.
First off you can notice that the UNSC has heard the distress signal sent out by Cortana at the end of H3. Skip to 1:09 in the trailer
You can clearly tell that those are UNSC ships entering the opening to the Shield World. You can also make out the two Pelicans on the right.
A couple of images later we see those ships destroyed. Obviously they were destroyed by the Shield World’s defenses. This can explain why the Dawn was exploding, it was being attacked by the world’s defenses.
Also we see that the Primordium cover art was in the trailer.
While this isn’t the Concept Art trailer, did notice that there appeared to be a blurred out Elite/Flood Elite in the Halo 4 PAX opening video.
