Sure, I’ve made a few complaint threads, but obviously 343i will never listen. They don’t read every single post. I’m giving up on this game and everyone else complaining should stop beating the dead Halo horse, throw away their saddle, bury the horse and get on with their lives. Seriously, imagine how much you could achieve with your life focusing your energy on possitive things, instead of focusing on negative things, such as how this game failed to meet your expectations. It’s pointless really to even attempt to give 343 constructive critisim, the franchise is long past its due date, and they will keep failing to deliver long into the future with little innovation and or grand creative vision. Halo CE is a 97 on metacritic, Halo 2 was around a 95 and Halo 3 was a 94, now Halo 4 a 87. My prediction? On the rate it’s going down at, I reckon Halo 5 will be about an 80. This game lacks any kind of ingenuity and I am appauled it won GOTY at Machinima. I find it pretty suss that Halo 4 also got a 10/10 on Machinima… Taking some money under the table I see?
Halo 4 is nothing more than a medicore campaign with medicore level design (each arena is a large box connected to another large box, to give the illusion of free space) and variety (shoot your way through each inter-connected box untill everything dies, and push buttons or have a quick time event), half -Yoinked!- setpieces (such as the pelican flight scene, it was barely touched on), forgetable soundtrack made by a forgetable composer. Hacked on co-op with nothing interesting to show excluding the cut scenes, in no way better than firefight. Dumbed down forge (forge areas for e.g). Dumbed down custom games. Unbalanced multiplayer weapons, bullet magnetism, didn’t implement 1-50 after everyone said in Reach, the whole jist, you know what everyone complains about… The game was a let down to alot of people, including long time Halo fans such as myself. I wish it was good, I really do. This game just doesn’t cut it.
This is the last time I will ever complain about the game for now, and it does seem quite hypocritical to complain about the game wilst saying not to, but I was just forming a base argument in order for people to see my stance on the game, and not dismiss me as a troll, to take me seriously and etc. And that’s it, I’m off.
TLDR; Halo massive dissapointment to alot of people. People should stop complaining because 343i obviously isn’t listening, plus it is a waste of time. I give brief and overall, legit reasons as to why I dislike the game. I give those reasons not to be a hypocrite, but to show I’m legit. Done with Halo.
