YES. Everyone be quiet now, Halo 4 is great. It is acceptable for both newbies and hardcore fans. Halo is still Halo. Let me list a few things for you:
- Perfectly balanced
- NO overpowered weapons
- accessible for both new player, as well as for oldies
- Long kill-times
- great graphics
- a small weapon arsenal
- great jokes and easter eggs
- various range of vehicles
Let’s face it: Halo 4 is great. The only reason why you would think it sucks, is because you are bad at it, or you got your k/d ruined. I’ve been playing Halo since Halo Combat Evolved in 2001, and I still like it. 343 has done a good job of evolving the game without changing too much.
I will buy Halo 5, and I won’t stop playing Halo 4. 343 has done a good job.

I don’t mean to spam but I’m just excited to see more people then I thought actual liking this game. I honestly think it’s the best Halo :).
I’m along for the ride and never want it to stop.
I don’t hate it because of not being good at it( its physically impossible for me to be bad at Halo) I just don’t play it very much because I can’t play online, and for some reason, that’s the only way to rank up, get new armor, get any kind of emblems to use, and play Spartan Ops. I liked the other games because they were offline friendly, while this one only gives you Campaign and Lan parties if you have enough people. I love the game, I just don’t love all the online only stuff.
I agree! Halo 4 is awesome. 
I agree with the OP, Halo 4 is great, too bad the community isn’t as good. ^^’
Not sure about the balance bit; seen far too many games swing wildly because 1 team amassed a ton of power weapons from drops.
Finally, someone not ranting about how much the game blows. I like this thread.
Halo 4’s definitely a work in progress but I can’t say a word against it really. The graphics, music, controls, sandbox, weapons, storyline… everything’s here in stellar fashion and it can only get better as 343 makes updates, adds maps and playlists (hopefully Grifball soon). I’m not leaving this awesome game anytime soon either.
And to the OP, you’re definitely right… your KD in this game reflects how good you actually are and unlike Reach, not how well you can boost Living Dead or Grifball stats.
