Since we all know the wrong path 343 is taking with Halo we might as well go back and play H3. I mean its one of the last great Halo’s to play so might as well go enjoy it. I myself have been playing it for a week and have been having lots of fun.
I don’t think this thread follows the guide lines for this sub-section.
Aside from that, the magic that was Halo 3 is gone, at least for me. I played a month ago to see how I felt it fared with Halo 4 and it was alright, but I stopped playing after 5 matches.
As much as I agree with you, I wouldn’t use the word “all” because not everyone will agree. It would be better to say “a lot of us” or “looks like a majority of us”. But yeah, once I get to SR-130 and get the achievements from Castle (I have the season pass), I’ll be done witht his game and I’ll go back to Halo 3. It had better Custom Games anyway.
I miss playing Custom Games on Halo 3 all day long.
No thanks and besides if I was going back to a previous game, Halo 3 would be the last one I’d pick. You guys have fun though.

I know you are, and I sympathize with your desire. I’m just saying that you have to word things… carefully around here.

You do. People don’t take exaggerations lightly. You say that everyone does anything and people will get mad. (I like Halo 4, so you’re wrong, etc.)
My teammates are still, for the most part, derps.
So, nothing new. Other than that and the lag, and the weak weapons, and other stuff, it’s good.
I never left Halo 3 and never will.
I’m playing H3 right now. Have been for a while. Last time I played h4 was to play with forge on forge island because it was free. Once I completed my man cannon warthogs across the map bridge, I was done.
H3 is just better overall, and having played 4 and reach, its hard to get back into a halo thats actually hard to be good at.
Right now I’m SR129 with about 20,000 XP left to go. Once I’m done with that, It’s time to relive the good ol’ days from 2007-2009.

I’m playing some Halo 3 right now. Man everything about this game is just so much better. Every time I log on I wonder why on earth the other Halo games strayed away from this formula.
Like just had a match on Valhalla. No sniping DMR or camping camos. Everyone actually left their bases and fought for the top hill. Sure most of the players left aren’t very good but I have far more respect for them than any other Halo player. They are at least keeping this game alive.

I know I do. It was so satisfying to not get killed by gimmicks / also survive the onslaught of enemies and actually be able to take them down one by one because they had no stupid AA’s or personal ordinances to save them =)

I do, That’s why I’m playing H3 atm
Many are planning to try to repopulate halo 3 on April 8th.
if bungie put all the halo 3 maps into rotation for social and ranked it i would be on it every day. so many great maps that you never see.
Yeah Im still playing Social slayer and BTB. Great fun
