When it first came out people said it sucked and people defended it saying its the first 5 just give it a chance. Then the second week comes out and everyone complained that the maps were recycled from last week. Now in week 3 we get Ragnarock, seriously -Yoinking!- Valhalla from 2007? are you kidding me. and for 2 of the levels? The first level is from the first week and the last level is from campaign. Theres no challenge its just run and die run and die. Would rather have ODST/Reach’s Firefight. Every freakin level is just run and hit a button run and hit a button. The only story in this game is from the freakin weekly trailer of the game we get then they just throw 5 generic levels together so we can wait a week to watch another trailer.
i don’t think it sucks… I enjoy it very much.
What part of it is enjoying.
If anything it gets progressively better. I love that map and it was awesome seeing them dump boatloads of hunters to make it harder and more entertaining.
Considering we get 50 free missions without having to download anything, they can use MP maps if they want to. We’ve seen that they can change the look and feel of places with the same maps. (For Example: The VIP)

What do you mean free? Spartans Ops is already on the disc. We paid for them already.
Nope, won’t agree, I find it most enjoyable, but y’know, there’ll be some who’ll like and dislike it, there’s no right or wrong, just opinions.
Try playing on an easier difficulty so it’s run and slaughter everything, instead of run and die. You might be able to enjoy it a little more then.
Spartan Ops is somewhat enjoyable.
I enjoy it, more co-op. I love games with co-op.
Episode 3 was awesome. Fighting alongside NPCs was such good fun. Really liking the way Spartan Ops is opening up, and having some fun with itself.
Still can’t stand Palmer though.
No.
This weeks episode was awesome. Sorry
Facing a covenant supper carrier and all those ghosts with 4 mantises. Epic moment in halo history.
I’m finding Spartan Ops to be quit eenjoyable.
Sure, there recycled maps are a bit dissapointing, but the combat and objectives seem to be nicely moved around each time you revisit.
Chapter 3 was by far my favorite, especially the Valhalla/Ragnorak sequences. Its cool and fun in my opinion running around in Spartan Ops on the multiplayer maps. I think its being handled pretty well.
The story is getting better and some of the missions are getting a bit more of a meaning. I’m excited to see where it goes for the next 7 episodes.

there on disc to allow easy instant play on release
and its fun to just run and gun things some times
Spartan Ops is one of the best things Halo 4 has going for it.
Episode 3 has been my favourite part of Halo 4 so far, just because it was so surprisingly good.
4 Scorpions vs a Covenant army? Yes please.
I agree with the OP, it’s way to repetitive and laggy as hell.
Thread level: backfire.
One of your arguments says that SO is repetitive, but so was FF. So that is invalid. If anything, FF is MORE repetitive. I am loving SO very much. I will admit Palmer is a bit… out of place. She needs to shut up! New toys New toys Dalton Dalton Dalton! Just make her lines a bit more meaningful. But that isn’t gameplay changing so I don’t care that much.
