I think it would be a good idea for your secondary colors to show up in team based games.
I for one play the most out of team based games, so I rarely ever see the awesome armor skins that we have worked for, some have even went out and bought. It would give us a little more ability to be unique in this online environment.
Then if they upped what we could do with secondary color like they did with Halo 4 visors, and go even further with it than that. Think about the Prometheans in campaign, their secondary color was a glowing blue, until the Didact changed it to a red. You could do that with a plethora of colors.
Anyways I think this would be a great addition for the next Halo game. What are your thoughts.

Didn’t they let you do that in previous Halo games? (my memory could just be lying to me). I like the idea. However, the only manipulation I could see being done with it is if a person is wearing an armor that has a secondary color that shows a lot on the armor. Then, they may be able to confuse the enemy team by selecting the opposite color of their team, whether it be red or blue.

In Halo 2 (and perhaps Halo 3, but I can’t remember), in team games, your primary color became your team’s color and your secondary color was your chosen primary color. For example, if your colors were steel/yellow and you were on Red team, your Spartan would be colored red/steel.
Halo 4 overrides everyone’s colors, making their primary color the team color and the secondary color white. I don’t like that. I would like to be able to customize my Spartan’s color even while on a team.

Actually, that was only in Halo 2. In Halo 3, we had the detail colour on one arm and leg that would appear in team games as the colour to which you set it.
However, I loved the way that Halo 2 did things, since it added just a bit more variety and personalization to each player in a team game. The secondary colour never stopped us from realizing who was on which team, so no confusion ensued from it whatsoever. So my vote is yes, this should most definitely return in Halo 5!
I’d like that idea. If primary color is the red or blue team color and secondary as your own secondary or primary color. I don’t like the red/blue with silver secondary all the time.
