Let us use all character models

This is for the sake of fun in Custom Games and Machinima creations. Outside of Matchmaking, which should only be Spartans and equivalents (Elites, and… something new?)

We should be able access and use ALL character models that appear in Halo 4 for Customs. Including all different variations of Marines, and Enemies. Even Floating around as Sentinels, and running around as Infection Forms (If they appear in the game).

This will not only allow us to make some CRAZY awesome custom variants. But also to improve the quality of Machinimas we make tenfold. Imagine if we COULD use Marines instead of brown Spartans? Or create a full on enemy faction instead of just using Elites? It would be friggin awesome.

If Gears of War could make Beast Mode, we can use all of Halo’s Character models too.

I agree with this. I’ve wanted to play as a Hunter since Halo CE. It’d be awesome for Invasion.

Nah.

Also: You guys can’t be serious. AA’s, Bloom, Sprint, Reach as a whole is spit out and considered to be “not-Halo”…but playing as Grunts, Jackals, Hunters, Drones etc etc is Halo? Got to be kidding me right? Playing as one of those would mean massive restrictions to weapon/vehicle usage which also means you litterally get classes…which people hated with AA’s already.

In Reach, I would have loved it if Bungie would have included Brutes for Multi. Simply for the fact that they’re the only ones other than Elites who can use any weapon, are about the same height as Spartans and Elites, and who could have had dedicated AA’s (Jumppack, Rage, Bash etc).

But for H4 that’s almost impossible as you’d first have to see if any ex-Covies make it into the game at all anyways (which I really doubt). Even then, chances are that we might just get Spartans and a replacement for Elites…and it should be kept like that (with the exception of Flood skins for Zombies).

Playing as anything else wouldn’t make sense and would be more un-Halo than anything Reach had…

Which is why he said for customs only. I think it’s a good idea!

Still goes agains the general consensus on these forums…It just baffles me.

Also: people asking for everything to be in Customs. From AA’s, to Sprint, to all character models, to no barriers around maps etc.
Do you guys know how much time and space that would take? You’d need a second disk to install all that stuff. Besides: if there won’t be Covies in the campaign (like I said before: chances are slim of ex-Covie races being back), 343i sure as hell won’t make a bunch just for Custom Games…
What you guys really should do, is try to get this as a mod for either Halo CE (PC) or H2Vista…

Also: I’m not bashing anybody here. Don’t take things personally or as an attack.

A Machinima maker could care less however.

If isn’t broken, break it until it is. I present the solution. :stuck_out_tongue:

-all have the same health. Spartan and Elite shields drain after spawning

-Mini Hunters (anyone catch the mini Skirmisher reference? ), giant Grunts (like Guetas), dino Jackals (like Moas), Spartans the size of skyscrapers (like this), Elites that always dual wield swords (purely appearance, not actual weapons) and have rainbow colored fire on their helmets and shoulders, Brutes that have infinite jetpacks and distort reality when wielding the gravity hammer (like the nuclear bomb glitch in Halo 3)

Hunters get a rapid fire fuel rod gun (in H1, if you controlled a Hunter, you could fire barrages of fuel rods by using primary and secondary triggers at the same time)

Jackals have a shield like Enforcers and are only vulnerable from the back or if the shields are depleted. They can be boarded and you can ride on them but they’re slow

Grunts stomp on enemies and fly with their methane tanks (at the speed of a Pelican) and with the press of the B button (aka red button, do not press), blow up

Spartans are slow but have a huge jump height and anything they step on goes flying out of the map and the victim makes this yell

Elites move at 300% speed but they succumb to shots more easily

Obviously, I’m not being serious. But I do agree that playing as other characters would be nice.

@DonVinZone:

It seems you completely misread my entire post. This isn’t just Customs Only, as it can be used to make Invasion better IMO, but I also made it clear that the only models they should let us use are the ones that are already in Campaign/Firefight in Halo 4. So no, it wouldn’t take nearly the extra work/disk content you seem to claim it would.

If there are no grunts in the game, there are no grunts, so what? We will still get an entire cast of whatever new enemies we fight to choose from.
