In the infamous Halo 2 E3 2003 demo, there’s a scene where the Chief dives out of a ghost to evade a closing gate. I’m thinking that we should eventually be able to do a similar move, but with more control over your movement instead of just being launched out of the vehicle. In future Halo games, a feature that allows you to exit vehicles at full speed and briefly slide out of vehicles would be epic. Imagine jumping out of a ghost while being pursued by a vehicle and be able to knock over an enemy in your path during your slide. It would make anyone feel like the biggest badass in the galaxy. And i’ve always found it a bit unrealistic how Spartans could just casually get out of a vehicle and just walk away.
In my opinion, it would be a very, very cool feature.
