Just one simple request: let us choose the server region we are playing. I‘m so sick of playing against americans, mexicans… even colombians. Either you are stomping them because you get lucky and get a server neat you or you get destroyed by them. Autoaim is completely iff when playing on foreign servers and players are almost invincible.
I know most of the US players here don’t care, but lag is a serious issue outside the US.
So please let us choose at least the region. If it takes to long to find a match, fine, let me expand the region. But as it is with H5, 60% of the games are pure luck and frustration.
edit: search preferences in h5 are useless.
back in the day there were workarounds to block certain dara centers. and it was a charm to play…
You’re right, the only servers from Halo comes from US and you can see that in MCC multiplayer, im agree with you to let us choice the server, at least the most closer to we are, there’s times i play in the south, then the other side and i cant just play like that.
Thats not right, there are plenty of EU Servers… they are based in Ireland and near Amsterdam. Maybe nowadays there are even more. The problem is: 343 chooses Matchmaking speed over game quality. I find matches within seconds but playing with a 200 ms disadvantage is frustrating as hell. On the other hand there a games where you can FEEL that you are ahead if your opponent and the can‘t kill you.
The response to this thread shows how less US players are affected by this for other players huge problem. Therefore 343 won’t give a -Yoink-…
Yeah, i’m from Spain and i understand what you mean, when i was playing on the flights of Reach on the xbox one all the servers were from US and the lag was real, anyways, on the current game on PC if i search on some gamemodes i got US servers and is annoying. Personally i asumed what the companies normally ignore non english players, and in the case of halo the playerbase is normally people from America, not only USA.
