Let us choose 'Battle Worn' vs 'Clean' Armor

I wish there was a setting, or feature, so you could choose if you want the common ‘Battle Worn’ armor or the less used ‘Clean’ armor look on your Spartan.

Right now, only a hand full, mostly the HCS Teams’ armors are clean, while almost all the rest of them are dirty, dinged up and some even look completely trashed. The Vermilion Wrath would look simply amazing if the armor was clean, especially since the under armor of the model is prestine and immaculate looking, compared to the other under armors. This is most noticable on the Yoroi armor set, where all but two under armors aren’t clean.

It would be a welcome addition if we could have a setting where we could choose ourselves if we wanted the Battle Worn or the Clean look for our armor.

This could be a setting in the ‘Body & AI’ section.
Together with Body Type, Prostheses, AI Model and AI color, a new option could be created called Armor Model, with the options Battle Worn and Clean.

I agree, as cool as the armor looks battle worn, i prefer to have a clean coatings on my armor, especially for the undersuit. I hate how dirty the undersuits look

Doom 2016 multiplayer had something like that… you can choose rust and dirt levels for your armor… they were adjusted with sliders… some of the best customization I’ve ever seen for a shooter. Halo infinite can learn a thing or 2 from Doom.

This option would be fantastic! The new cyber showdown armor sets would look so sick if they had a clean option available.

This would actually be a good idea, it would give an extra option for customization and I’m all for that.

Yes please! Clean the scuffed up armor we worked so hard for, or make it clean at the beginning of the match and ware over time during battle.

And add all the missing weapons too!

That would be a neat additional setting, Damage over Time.

So we’d have 3 settings:

  • Clean (Stays clean throughout the match)
  • Battle Worn (Scratched up and dinged up)
  • DoT (Damage and wear added throughout the match.)

I thought something like this was already going to be added at launch, like whenever you die, your Spartan’s armor looks cracked and ravaged and/or filled with holes or sword slashes etc.

Sadly, the only way these interesting ideas would be applied is if they were sold in the store.

True, it could. It could also learn a thing or two from Halo 2, in the color/emblem department. Not to detract from what you’re saying, because I do think you make a great point.
