I get you made a pretty intro to look at, I get you want people to look at eachother and rush to the store to buy their armour but we’ve seen it now, we’re bored of it now, let us have the choice to simply hold down/toggle the view button as before rather than pressing menu then view to only see a list of names. People will still see the pretty intro.
Not only is the above annoying but now it’s even more annoying between rounds of attrition and similar gametypes with rounds.
How about not having to open the scoreboard to check which random is talking? Oh yeah and you have to hold it open until they talk again to see which name it is.
Yeah, I’m not actually sure what the OP is referencing, but I need to be able to mute people who leave their mic open while eating, or talk too much, or are assholes, etc. And right now, it’s pretty much impossible, especially in BTB where the player list is multiple pages.
Finally, I disabled voice chat (incoming) I thought, but I still hear them… so either I’ve misunderstood what options mean what or something isn’t working properly.
Well, when the intro starts, in previous games you could view the scoreboard by holding the view button. Now you cannot and can only view a list of names by pressing 2 buttons.
It’s annoying and it’s even more annoying because now you cannot do it between rounds either.
You might as well set your comms to friends only because this is 90% of people who ‘use’ their mic in halo
However on a serious note, you also used to be able to do this from the scoreboard function I am talking about.
You MIGHT have muted the team chatter which is the automated voices. “My shields have popped”, “over there” etc.
The setting if you want to mute everyone is in the Xbox settings not halo settings but that will be everyone or everyone except friends
If you look above your team mates, by default there is a little Blue dot(the color depends on which ever you picked from the UI menu), this dot turns into an X when they are respawning, or shows an Exclamation point (!) inside of it when they are shooting or being attacked. Also, if they speak through a mic, you’ll see little ripples come off the sides of the dot almost like a sound wave effect.
I am not sure if we can hear opponents chatter anymore.
This benefits me, denying other players things doesn’t really benefit you at all. Also probably should keep arguments from that thread to that thread, no point talking about it elsewhere.
