There’s so much new stuff in this update and they gave us custom browser early so this update was definitely a Win for 343 before they go away on break. Also the networking update is dope too. Matches feel better in America.

The new map was a surprise too. The only thing I’d want is King Of The Hill to return to Ranked Arena. (It’s back in social modes but not ranked)

The also made improvements to mouse and keyboard. I play on M&K and yeah my movement and aim feel so much smoother. Custom games browser was a surprise too! Well done 343, can’t wait to see what they have to show for season 3.

I will give them credit for trying to improve the game and fix all the issues it has; however, after a few games I can confirm that the melee is still trash and inconsistent. Getting tired of being right in front of an enemy only for the melee to whiff and hit nothing and then they get the kill on me.

it’s uh. i have mixed feelings on it.
Like, i understand there’s no need for me to LIKE every change for the changes to be correctly implemented, yanno? But it feels like their priorities are uhhhhhhhh I’m having trouble figuring out what they’re trying to accomplish overall, i guess, is how i feel.

I never experienced that. As a Gold 6 player, I have never played against higher then Diamond 2 this ranking (when solo)
When I team up I play with Daimond 3/4 players and it doesnt go higher then that.
I have yet to play against an Onyx ranked player.
I definitely feel like the game has slowly been improving over time, and this December update has been another step towards that progress.
Before we celebrate, however, I want to hear some promises of new weapons and vehicles. I really miss the options from 5, for example. I didn’t think that 5 was the greatest Halo game, but I did enjoy the large armory.
I will point out, though, that with the release of this December update, my LASO campaign was suddenly set to Heroic with no skulls activated. I definitely think this update caused me to lose that LASO progress, but I submitted a ticket just to be sure. So, it isn’t without its bugs. I really hope I don’t have to redo those LASO missions
I see Onyx players in my matches from time to time. Trust me, I’m not good enough to be seeing those players. I don’t actually play ranked, though, so maybe I’m seeing a mix because I generally remain unranked

Forge is a broken mess and the controls are awful
No sign of splitscreen due to it being cancelled.
Zero sign of the progression system that they claimed before launch and don’t get me started on the broken Watchdog skin.
For it to be a ‘win’ for me it have to get me to want to play and for me it hasn’t been interesting enough to come back to. I still believe the game should have been delayed further until 2023 or 2024.

FOMO is slowly disappearing, as they just gave all armor cores for free. Forge is still the best in all the series, and no splitscreen does not determine this game’s value, at all.
While the current progression in Infinite needs to be improved or even remodeled, you’re giving no credit to whats already in the game because it doesn’t have the things that you want.

Free events are still FOMO since they can vanish forever and not return and could endlessly up in the store as overpriced MT.
2ndly Forge in Infinite is the worst I’ve ever used. It was somehow worse than Halo 5. To say I hate it would be an understatement.
What I want? you mean the things they promised and didn’t actually do. I’m not going to give them credit for something they haven’t done. Heck I haven’t even seen anyone remotely interested in being accountable. If anything I should be annoyed at 343i.
I’m not going to pretend everything is somehow better when it isn’t.
