Alot of F2P has a good free items drops that build an appetite for content. I keep comparing infinite to rocket league.
RL has a good drop system where you get free things regularly. Now in most cases they are just rare or very rare items, nothing to write home about, but to someone who doesn’t have much, that can really start the desire to customize. And if you put a good price point in, you can entice these kinds of players to make purchases on content they want. It worked on me.
