Let me turn off crossplay (aim assist)

You guys are hilarious saying there is no aim assist.

If you google halo infinite aim assist you can find a diagram showing the best players in the world on halo infinite and how controllers have a HUGE accuracy increase over mouse and keyboard. Which would be impossible without aim assist… You guys are hilarious.

Lmao pc players wine and wine and wine all the while ruining multiplayer for console players in every game they’re in. I agree crossplay should be disabled but for the sake of not having to play against pc mouthbreathers who have the advantage

You have to be really bad with a mouse if a thumbstick out-aims you - especially in the halo with the least aim assist in the series.

As a controller player, I would absolutely love to turn off cross play because from my point of view, Keyboard and Mouse users have the massive advantage.

For all the ones who say there’s no aim assist, plenty of more online like this…

For the ones that just want to get right to the part when he switches from keyboard and mouse…

Well said OP, especially the part of relying on one’s own skill and not letting dev approved aimbot play the game for me.

Assuming they have pretty high end systems that can push a lot more frames, and a high refresh rate monitor that dramatically decreases their input response time then that would make sense about aim assist being better on PC than console, especially if the average console user is just playing on a 60hz TV .

From listening to people talk in CSGO forums, they mention how ideal it is to get as many frames as possible just for that purpose about reducing input latency.

It really has less to do with fine motor movement and more so ‘macro’ reaction timing. It’s not going to make you react to subtle movements faster, but react to broader actions quicker.

I would wager in situations like like strafing, RRR AA has an advantage due to its ability to influence course correction.

However, ranged movement reaction timing with lower input lag/higher framerate will take the trophy.

Something interesting of note which Infinite doesn’t let you do is push a higher framerate than your monitor allows. A little known fact is that you don’t need a high refresh rate monitor to take advantage of a higher framerate, pushing higher frames on a 60hz panel will decrease input lag as the system is processing more data even if you can’t visually perceive it allowing for better reaction times.

Most games on console lock you in at a set framerate and resolution, but if the hardware is strong enough (which in a lot of cases is plenty strong) you should be able to push higher frames on lower refresh rate monitors and TVs if the devs just allowed the settings to exist. Not sure if Halo Infinite could benefit as it is a rough game to run in the first place, but I’m just sharing some info not many people know about.

Changing from 60fps/60hz to 240fps/60hz:180fps/60hz elevated my CSGO and Overwatch gameplay to crazy heights. In some cases it should essentially have the same effect in a lot of console titles if the ability to tap into it was ever enabled.

I agree with all of the noskilled console peasants here, let us use aimbot on pc too and lets just have fun!
