Not sure if this is just a bug but unless a match has been found, any interaction with components (such as my battle pass or customization panels) instantly stops matchmaking full stop. Come on, 343i. Let me do both at the same time…
You should be able to do all battlepass and interacting stuff once the 3 second cool down has ended - ie. 3 seconds after pressing ‘play’.
It’s still annoying but you don’t have to wait until an actual game is found.
