So, Halo 4 looks epic. I started my halo life with halo 3, and got all the games after that. I played the ORIGINAL halo CE after those, but still havent gotten my hands on halo 2. Well, I am only 14, but My skill level is pretty good. What if small kids like 8 year olds start from 4? it wont make sense to them, and then theres gonna be all these dumb questions on the forums. thoughts?

There’s going to be a short prelude before Mission One of the Campaign explaining the events leading up to Halo 4.
Regarding the story, there is a cutscene in the beginning that recaps all the events thus far. So you’ll technically be up to speed and will be able to explain some things about the Covenant and Humanity and the Forerunners.
But I do wonder how some younger people who don’t know about the story will be able to grasp on the Forerunner part of the story, specifically the Didact and his stuff.

They probably won’t have the co-ordination to post in these forums since they will only be 4 years old. So I wouldn’t worry - as long as they stay in school!
will the recap be in new graphics

Most likely. Yes. Definitely.

They may not do it using previous cutscenes if that’s what you’re talking about. I’m thinking a Halo:CEA Terminals type of presentation.
8 year olds shouldn’t be playing halo in the first place, much less be able to grasp the story.
I was one of the lucky guys who started playing halo from the original xbox. Hopefully can continue playing it until microsoft decides to stops publishing halo.
343 have stated time and time again that they’re making Halo 4 accessible to new comers and the next generation. Im sure they’ve thought about this.
Wtf 8 year olds can play rated m games these days? That is just sad i mean i can understand a 13 yr old and older playing rated m games which is fine but below 12, kids tht old would just prob come on this forum and -Yoink- like freaking 2 year olds about everything being over powered i dont want that to happen, im sure every one on waypoint doesnt want to explain to an 8 year old that pv and power weapons are not op.
I wish gamestores would be more strict about it that kids who are not teens and are younger then 13 shouldnt play m games til theyre atleast 13 and up

Yet it is the younger audiences below the intended rating (M) that can easily get a hold of a copy of Halo 4 and annoy us online -.-. You know how it is, awesome parenting and what not.
