Ive played xbox live since 2004 and one thing i have noticed is the slow death of the social side of xbl. This mainly came about because of the introduction of the party chat system this stopped all interaction with other people other than your friends. What made xbl so much more fun was the talking with other people be it trash talking and arguments or meeting new people. That doesn’t exist anymore noone talks it’s like playing with bots.
I think party chat is here to stay but one thing i liked about COD MW2 was that search and destroy made you go into gamechat to play. It would be great if some of the ranked playlists had this option, it really enhances the gameplay and brings xbl back to what it should be playing and communicating with people from all over the world.
