Yeah mine is doing the same. I have the launch model, it’s had RROD twice (My friend and I are good at fixing it), plus it only has an 8g hard drive… I’m kind of glad though, cause now I have an excuse to get the H4 edition of the 360 lol.

Meh, with next gen around the corner i would atleast try to fix it. Thats $400 that could go else where or put money down on a new console or even better a video card for a gaming PC… 
@Above: Try looking into a pair Astro’s their expensive but they are by far the best in my opinion. Plus they also work with PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
That would be bad bigtime. I got my Xbox about 4/5 years ago without any ring issues so far. I’m hoping that it holds together until the NextBox is released.
If you don’t have warranty, you could try fixing it yourself. It’s usually not complicated depending on the issue. Look up a tutorial.
Its the stupid power cord transformer, hits the red light, xbox powers off and is hot to hold. Its the one piece of xbox hardware that’s a bit of a pain to get a hold. What’s perplexing is this is the second time in about 8 months.
