Saw this pic sometime ago, And Ive noticed they look less and less military/army built, perhaps too much emphasis on the aesthetics?
What you think, are ya alright with this or do think the need to revert, or perhaps just add a small touch.
To me, the new armor looks a lot more functional than previous incarnations, and the armor components more integrated into the suit than before.
Previous versions of Mjolnir looked like they wouldn’t work too well in the real world. The armor components looked like the were just “placed” over the black body suit.
Halo 4’s armor, to me, looks like a powered battle suit.
That’s just me.
Legs and arms are way to skinny to be the real model their using for Halo 4. And from the pictures I’ve seen on Game Informer I’m very pleased with how the chief looks.

Oops haha, then he shouldn’t even be worrying about it.
It should be noted they’ve since moved the shoulder pauldron higher up to a more appropriate place. The new chief, when compared to H3, is really not that different. Just touched up.
… as long as MC doesn’t look like an army-man w/dookie drawers (like Reach) I’m fine …

Agreed, also, the suit still looks military, you just got to remember, this isn’t your every day military, this is future based military that deals with space. Military suits would change to suit the the tech of the time. Just look at the past history. for a period of time, you had people running at each other in their birthday suits waving sticks, now days you guy soldiers wearing body armor that add an extra 100lb, and is a real pain to move around in. The Chief’s new armor looks more like it’s built for better movement, there is very little hard sections that interfere with movement unlike older models.
