Less incentives for stupidity

So, today I played Reach and said, screw it, lets actually try to get a perfection.

Game 1: 14 killstreak, teammates drives the hog I’m in off a cliff. (???)

Game 2: 13 killstreak, I grab a sniper, betrayed. (-_-)

Game 3: 13 Killstreak, I grab a ghost, glitched to fly into a wall. (._.)

Game 4: 16 killstreak, 30 seconds left, Teammate rams banshee into me, sending me flying off a cliff.

Seriously, too much stupid in this game! The incentives to betray are more attractive than the incentive to actually go for thigns like perfections! 343, don’t do something similar to Reach!

Don’t expect Halo 4 to have anything less then that.

It’s what happens when the betrayal system is broken.

Halo likes to promote creativity. It’s hard to distinguish creativity from stupidity. Build a better fool proof machine, the world will build a better fool… So you’re screwed

Once, while playing CTF… My team drove me to their base, I got out to get the flag, NO ONE was around, I got outside with the flag and guess what? No one’s there.

Ever think they’re new to the game? On your first day of Halo, were you like “URMURGURD MLG PRO HEADSHOTS ALL DAY ‘ERR DAY TAKIN’ NAMES KILLIN’ EVERYONE!”?

Even when I was new to the game, I wasn’t stupid enough to betray my teammates and drive off of a cliff. Then again, I had practiced on LAN when I got Halo 3 for months before I got Xbox LIVE so I actually knew what the hell I was doing when I jumped into my first MM game. And there’s a difference between being inexperienced and betraying your teammate for a weapon on purpose, only to have him suck with that weapon and giving it to the enemy or losing it.

Yeah, but what about now? OP was talking about now, and his rank should push him well above playing with new users who don’t know what they’re doing. The point is, stupid happens no matter how long you’ve been playing or how high your rank is. Sometimes it’s just accidents, other times it’s intentional.

So Halo has been dead ever since the release of H2 for you then?

As for OP:
There are no incentives to betray people or act stupid. You don’t get rewarded for doing such things. There are just some people out there who for some reason like f—ng up their teammates and will do so no matter what game they play. So expect the same in H4
