Just wanted to get some opinions on this topic… First off to explain my situation. I am one of the many that was laid off by my company and since been unable to find a job. SO i was LUCKY to even be able to get a regular version of Halo. Along with being layed off I have also run into a slew of health issues… Therefore I have been stuck in my house with nothing to do BUT play halo (Thank god for the timing on these two issues, lol). Now onto the topic, I too am frustrated that I have hit my level cap pf 70, and cannot gain any more xp. However, it does not mean im still not enjoying playing with my friends and counting myself as lucky to even BE playing. Sure i see myself on losing out on tons of xp, and wish i could see the new specializations, but there is NOTHING you can do about it but wait.
The issue that i have is this… Money controls everything anymore… Anyone knows this. However, especially in these times most people are hard up and shelling out almost twice the asking price for a game for added in game content is wrong IMO. I am 35 and have been gaming since a stick and 1 button was your option. I have seen great ideas like posters, toys, figures, strategy guides, all merchandising apparel and what not, etc…etc… Turn into BAD ideas as added in game content. Which is turning people inside out. All for the sake of more money… Around this time of THANKSgiving, i see more people screaming and yelling, throwing profanities and trolling just because they are upset at something you cannot hold nor keep, nor will you probably hardly remember in a couple years…
Get out and be with your family, get some air and some sun, because in 10 days you will get your wish and probably be onto yet another gripe about something meaningless.
So i guess what im saying is who would rather it be like it used to be and get some cool stuff that you can keep, wear, or play with. Rather than pay more for something you will eventually get anyway? Patience is a virtue people…
peace love and chicken grease to my halo peeps! Im thankful for Halo and all the friends I have met online.
