They kidnapped the children while it was still Orion II. So they obviously changed it to Spartan II based on his name. Kind of sweet, really.

Fairly certain this is the first time we’ve encountered Spartan-011.
That’s pretty cool, already was my favorite Omega Team member.
i just wish there were more spartans all the time. master chief has had enough time in the spotlight. more characters with backgrounds is awesome. especially when they’re the elite members of a faction. speaking of elites - i’d like more of the non-human races to have fleshed out identities as well. so glad they made halo wars 2. only strategy games and RPG’s can really flesh out this many characters.

Not Fall of Reach, he’s never mentioned by name there. First time we saw him canonically was on Arcadia in Halo Wars. He didnt have a name though.
