Lens flare in BTB maps

Is the team who made the BTB maps JJ Abrams fans?

Is the lens flare seriously needed in every single map? It looks so amateur and low budget.

If we are going to be stuck with these fugly forge made maps at least get rid of the lens flare or tone it down ffs.

Honestly I have never noticed the lens flare and I play BTB a lot. What maps is it most prevalent on?

Yes. The lens flare is super distracting and just horrible. Some maps I dread because of it.

I think he means glare and not flare. Recurve is the absolute worst BTBI have ever played the lighting and sunset are horrible. Not to mention the poor lighting on other maps where you can almost disappear into some shadows.

Is it to discourage cross map BRing?

Would defeat the purpose of BTB being a casual/social playlist though.

Recurve and Deadlock.

Deadlock can be really bad. Can’t remember which base, but if you are on Railgun spawn looking towards the base you are literally blinded and have zero chance of spotting the guy BRing you to death.

Because lens flares are “cool” and “next-gen.” Plus it’s part of the new lights in Forge, and you know everyone is going bananas over that. The challenge not using too much lens flare that it becomes ridiculous. Be bold and outstanding, but at the same time be modest.

Yeah I agree that its being used too much, just makes the game look trashy imo.

Wish we had normal lighting like the Halo 3/Reach BTB maps
