Thousands of times a day, unfortunate players all across Reach are being forced into playing Assault Rifle starts in the various playlists. These poor souls are unable to spawn knowing that they can defend themselves at medium range. Please think of the needy, donate your DMR to those that really need it. Those who are getting spawn killed on Reflection. Those who have to empty an entire Pistol magazine into someone at medium range, only for bloom to make those shots not count.
Don’t make players have to play only using an AR and Magnum, every donation counts, even if it is only 15 rounds. Thank you.

I regret to inform you that we are only taking DMR bullets at the moment. We are really looking into Needle Rifle rounds, though. I will let you know at a later date where you can sign up.

Absolutely.Each time I have Pinnacle or Ar starts (or both :/) I just feel like turning off my xbox and taking out the trash…

Sitri, this gave me a good chuckle, I’m all for DMR starts, I remember on Halo 2’s final day, Bungie had a little tip admitting SMG starts were wrong, Halo 3 & Reach AR Starts are just as bad, if not worse.

I personally love the SMG, it was my favorite weapon in Halo 3.
I don’t understand why they are able to admit SMG starts were bad in H2, but continued to use ARs for Halo 3, and even Reach.

AR starts are balanced, they allow you to search for other weapons and promote tactical gameplay. In fact, AR starts balance the sandbox perfectly as it allows weapon variety to shine and 32 round ARs is realistic. You just don’t know how to use it and your Magnum is just a back up weapon, the AR rounds are strong enough. Grow some thumbs and learn how to run in a straight line guns blazing and all. That takes true skill instead spamming precision weapons, all hail Vanilla settings! Bungie is teh godzors, they understand weapon rolls MLG is just a bunch of tryhards that live in the past. Halo Reach is HALO, more so then even CE!!

In all seriousness (well i am still joking actually) though, i will donate out my full arsenal of Modified DMRs utilizing ZB and explosive, armor piercing rounds to the this noble and just cause. I cannot stand idly by as more souls suffer the tyranny of the AR start gametype. Never again will you feel naked and defenseless on big maps, never again will you have to put with low tier gameplay and those who promote death charging/double derping.
Let us unite brothers. Let us stand as one or fall divided against this derpy gametype! Take up arms with DMRs today!
For nearly a year and a half, we have all seen the heartbreak. The players who’s only mistake was not having a DMR to help them. Many have died last night due to this, but there are those who have been saved. Saved by those willing to donate even a few bullets for nothing at all.
Think of the player next to you on Anchor 9, Hemorrhage, or Zealot. Looting around the ground, rocks, and hallways for a single DMR round. Like you, they know what fun is, they know what weapons do, they know how Halo plays, but they don’t know how a DMR will save them in the end.
Give these players a hand - donate two or three bullets, maybe even a few more. Save them from being overpowered by distance, or by being unable to get out of a spawn trap. We’ve all seen circumstances like this everywhere, and they need our support. Over 10,000 players have died and respawned yesterday because of a game starting with Assault Rifles. If you know this pain, or remember a time in your past when you were like these poor souls, you’ll give them your time and a few rounds.
All we ask for is a few bullets to give these poor souls. Help end their suffering and give them a hand. Stand by their side and help them come into a world where everyone has a chance.
I do not support this cause. These people have dug their on grave by voting in this AR atrocity. I don’t shed one tear as I destroy their weak automatic guns with the DMR I just picked up. We should euthanize AR start voters with a cold heart before they spread and create more derp start voting(by spawn trapping their defenseless spartans).
This tragedy is self inflicted and therefor donating your DMR will only lead to it being swapped out for some other useless weapon.

First, i like my Vanilla AR/Mag loadouts. Dont get me wrong, i think the drm is a fine weapon, just not when everyone has one. It eliminates the need for cqc.
Second, the spawn problem you are referring to is the fault of the map, not the loadouts. This can be cprrected with the inclusion of proper community maps. And please dont argue that all community maps are lame, i have seen quite a few that are near flawless.
