Are we going to see other forms of the Lekgolo other than Hunters and Scarabs in Halo 4?
I doubt it. Hunters and Scarabs are the only ones deployed to battle.

Apart from the above poster’s reply, there wont be any covenant in Halo 4 as far as i know.

It is highly unlikely that we will see any Covenant in Halo 4.
Now, with that said, I would absolutely love to see other Lekgolo forms fleshed out in a visual medium (games, videos, comics, ect.) I find it funny that Hunters and Scarabs are the rarest forms of colonies but basically all we see.

Im pretty sure the “Covennant” will pop up in Halo4.Those species are a huge part of the universe.
The Covenant faction itself has disbanded by the events of Halo 4. However it is entirely likely that the Lekgolo will appear in the game as part of a different faction (whether friend or foe is beyond me).
Hopefully we will get to see more different kinds of shells they occupy. Especially if the Flood return, as Lekgolo can’t be infected (or so we think).
The Covenant themselves probably did have more shells for them. I know they were used to gather information from the Dreadnaught and could possibly been used as pilots for fighter ships and the like.
I want to see a Lekgolo that can hover/fly using antigrav technology, it aught to be about half the size of a Mga’Lekgolo hunter.

Well, I think I heard on the Halo 4 HaloFest Panel that Halo 4 would resume the Arbiter’s story. So I assume that, if the Lekgolo DO appear in Halo 4, their best bet to appear is alongside Arby.

They were talking about Glasslands. Not Halo 4. The connection is that Glasslands ties in with Halo 4.

Well given that all anyone really knows is that we’ll see Master Chief, Cortana, half of the FUD, a new weapon, a mysterious planet and an “ancient evil”, I don’t really see how you could assume that there’ll be no Covenant.

Well for one the covanant isnt together any more, two Franky said no purple in Halo 4…

The Covenant is a faction. The species of the Covenant still exist in the universe even though the Religion is abolished. Basically he was just saying that your enemy isn’t the Covenant anymore. He never remotely implied that Elites, Grunts, Brutes, etc. etc. wouldn’t be part of the story.

reach was set before halo 1- of course they dont appear, they hadnt discovered the ring yet.
covenant seperatists could apppear in h4 like elites at least and brutes hadnt been wiped out, merely disorganised but they could be out there somewhere. i would love to see the homeworlds of various species and what happened between brutes and elites after 3. just saying, it cant be ruled out.
Let’s try to fix some confusion here.
The Covenant is not a species, it is a religious faction made up of several species, it still exists, and it still contains some Elites.
I am fairly certain we will see some species that were within the Covenant in Halo 4, whether they are part of the Covenant or even know the Covenant exist is another story.
This should go in Campaign or Fiction.

Halo wouldn’t be Halo without some Elites, Grunts, and Brutes.
