Im not trying to cause an argument but do you think halo should reset its lore like disney did with starwars like should they only make the games cannon and just certain books because of all the inconsistencies in the games and books? Im curious on what people think

Huh thanks but i still think maybe im saying maybe there should be a lote reset it could open possibilities and more flexibility or they could delore any bad thing like nightfall im just bringing this up for conversation and to see if people have backing for it
Why should 343i do something like this? If there’ll be a reset Halo will die. The Halo Universe is so big that a reset will never happen.

Starwars didnt die that universe was massive
I think there are some lore aspects that need to be cut. I can name a few off the top of my head. The Return is the first one that comes to mind.
I’d be fine with cutting Halo 5, Fall of Reach Animated, Nightfall, Escalation, Initiation, Kilo 5 and the Forerunner saga from the canon entirely.

Why should the Forerunner trilogy, Halo 5 and Nightfall be cut? FR-Trilogy was awesome and Nightfall does not disregard canon (but they can change the appearance of the Yonhet if they are not related to humans and forerunners).
And cutting Halo 5 would be one of the worst things they could do now. Then an entire main game would be noncannon
Just going to say, you need a better reason for canon resetting besides not liking something. I saw the Forerunner Saga as a suggestion. Why? It isn’t problematic.

I could care less for the Forerunner Saga, but it should stay. I mainly said that for Initiation, Escalation, Nightfall, and Halo 5. They just really need to be rewritten into something actually worthy of the title Halo.
There is no doubt that those are the weakest “stories” in the Halo Universe, and are greatly disliked by a majority of the community.
