i’ve seen a lot of hate for those of us that wish to do something other than run headlong into the fray.
so on behalf of every spartan you see standing still, know that not all of us are AFK, we are hunting the most dangerous game -
we just do it a bit differently than you.
come, sit by the campfire.
relax & pick off your fellow spartans at your leisure.
also: thanks to 343i for making a great game that lets you play as you see fit: running amok tossing nades everywhere, or finding a nice little spot to do some plinking - and balanced load outs to accommodate different styles.

appreciate your input
but care to elaborate?
what makes it cheap ? or annoying? (i can appreciate frustrating, but that kind of goes with every time i get killed)
for the record: i don’t shotty / camo camp - i recall that from Reach & got nailed by it plenty
which is why i love H4 now - with the added AmMO perk & DMR, i can just chill and plink all match. not using camo - just find a spot and shoot shoot shoot away.
however: it felt like an exceptional accomplishment (worthy of a medal IMHO) to kill a guy who is Camo / Shotty and has the drop on you.

It’s cheap because it’s easier to kill that way. You’re in a specific spot where it’s hard to spot you first time and that you can easily just pick someone off as you’re prepared for someone to run round the corner. The person running round the corner will have a much harder time as you’ll probably see him first. It’s just really annoying as it lacks skill to do and just gives perfections to people who don’t deserve it.

hmmm
i think i’m going to take the “disagree for $200 Chuck”
not sure that it’s really “easier to kill” - the distance is almost always greater than in “normal” battles
as for the guy “coming round the corner” being at a disadvantage to the camper - again, not seeing it as i’ve been assassinated more times than i care to count while i camp.
“lacks skill” - see my response about it being “easier to kill”
and it “gives perfections to people who don’t deserve it”
well that just seems kinda lame. if you get a perfection - even doing it by -Yoink!- the banshee - well you earned & deserve it.
