TU= Title Update
The TU introduces several changes to Reach such as:
The removal of Sword Block (you can’t block the sword anymore)
Armor Lock nerf (you can now force players out of Armor Lock with weapons and grenades. Each hit drains the meter faster until they pop out. They also cant survive being stuck by plasma grenades anymore).
Camo nerf (it doesn’t last as long).
Bleedthrough Melee (It reworking of the shield system. If your shields are weak, the damage carries over to your health. Melees can now kill you even if you have a little bit left in the bar).
Bleedthrough Headshots: Similar to the Melee but it’s headshots instead.
85 Bloom: Faster resetting reticule to allow pacing to be rewarded more than spamming. 85 bloom and the rest of the TU changes are under labeled “TU Slayer” when it appears as a voting option in select playlists.
ZB: Zero Bloom. As the name suggests, there is no reticule bloom and is usually labeled “ZB Slayer”. It’s similar to how the old Halos played. Sort of.
Right now, the playlists with the Standard TU Slayer changes are as follows: Squad Slayer, Mult-Team, BTB, Double Team, The Arena, Anniversary FFA, Squad, and BTB. Soon Rumble Pit will have the TU though Team Slayer is going to be voting for to use vanilla (old settings) or TU Slayer settings.
There are currently two playlists that use ZB settings. The beta playlist (which ZB will be moved from to it’s own playlist) and MLG which uses the ZB NS settings (or in other words, Zero Bloom, No Sprint).
ZB and 85 bloom do not affect automatic weapons, just the DMR, Needle Rifle, and the Magnum. Everything else in the weapons sandbox is the same. However, bleedthrough applies to all weapons and melees.
