Legendary weapons

The prophets bane is a map specific weapon. It’s the sword used by the arbiter and exclusive to the map truth.
What legendary weapons would you like to see?
the whole idea of these special weapons sound awesome and a great addition to halo.

Idea:
Fist of Rukt.
Flamethrower
60 Round mag assault rifle

Auto Shotgun?
Promethean sword?

What do you think?

A Promethean sword or Human Machete will be super badass.
Or add a heavy chain gun.

I like all of these a lot except Auto Shotgun. Would have to get more details before being sold on that. I like the idea of taking a normal weapon like the AR and making it a Legendary. They could do that with the needler as well, that’d be funny.

A legendary SMG that comes with two for some old fashioned dual wield. (can still melee and grenade, tweak the animation looks i suppose)

The halo 2 plasma pistol as a legendary weapon.

Halo 1’s pistol as a legendary weapon, saw it called Captain’s Sidearm in another thread and that was quite cool.

I’d support Jackal-Shield only if you had to have a pistol or plasma pistol in order to pick it up. And once you have it, you lose your other weapon and can only use your pistol/plasma pistol with it. You could still use all of your abilities, but can’t throw grenades.

Just having a head to toe shield where you can only reliably shoot the users hand would seem overpowered and need to have serious drawbacks.

This would be hilarious beyond compare XD

The good old SPNKR rocket launcher. To make it different it would deal more damage and it could lock on to both vehicle and air targets.

The M6D. Same as the new magnum, but in chrome finish. Higher damage and fully automatic of course.

Well legendary weapons should be, unique, in a way I guess. Prophet’s bane is unique, it’s Arbiter’s sword.

Fist of Rukt is on the Universe weapons page. Can you say legendary Grav Hammer?

Remove them from the game, it takes skill to use the energy sword, it takes sprinting to use the Prophet’s Bane…it’s broken, don’t even try to patch it, just remove it from multiplayer.

I don’t care if these “Legendary” items are in single player just remove them from multiplayer.

I like the idea of classic weapons returning as legendary weapons. Especially dual smgs. Gid I miss dual wielding.

-The Fist of Rukt is a must since it already exists in the canon and functions exactly the same as a Gravity Hammer
-I like the idea of adding the SPNKR Rocket Launcher- it could be slower but more powerful, with a lock-on mechanic
-The Plasma Launcher from Reach with mechanics similar to the Hydra
-Some crazy and unique Promethean weapon (maybe a laser beam)

Maybe some of the unused weapons in Halo 4 could become legendary weapons like the bishop beam.

Add the CE Magnum as well.
