Google halo 4 legendary symbol and the first image that comes up… Is that the real one?
I’m sorry 343i I <3 you Guys and all but changing the symbol in my opinion (and quite a few others I gather) is a terrible idea… Cortana, chief, the guns and the difficulty symbols are the only things that are left relatively unchanged… people, even non-halo people even recognize that it’s from halo, you change that… You change halo… Not for the better I’m sorry, but the symbol should remain as the elite skull with the crossed swords over a shield

Seems logical, you are not fighting the Covenant now, so they changed it to something promethean-ish. Remember is a new trilogy

The new Legendary badge makes sense

I don’t ever remember seeing people get upset over the Halo 3: ODST Legendary icon. So why the big deal about this one? It look good and it matches what the next 3 games will be about.

Yeah ODST had a different but still cool one. It might make sense but it doesn’t look as good. Although the one on google is still not finished up like the others yet. It could look quite good when it’s done.

After Halo 3 most of the covenant disbanded. Whatever is left afterwords is not considered a huge threat before the start of Halo 4.
I fail to see why people are sooo opinionated about this, it’s a logo you’ll see for like 10 seconds maybe.
Meh its just a black and white drawing imo. I’m sure it’ll look better in game

Yes, and ODST’s legendary logo was fully rendered to look realistic like the classic logo. All we’ve seen of this new one is a 4 shades of gray abstraction.

Well, that’s the symbol they showed in the IGN video and I believe some other sources as well. It looks bad so I hope it’s a rough draft, but I wouldn’t count on it.

It’s clearly rough, the thing is 2D for gods sake.

Well no, it’ll obviously be polished but the design itself isn’t too great compared to the old crest symbol.

There’s nothing wrong with it, and its hard to tell how good it will be from a ROUGH DRAFT
