I completed Halo5 solo on legendary, just as I have for every halo ever released (with the exception of all campaigns on the MC collections, just co-op legendaryH2A)
I braved the warden solo. Should be an achievement (pro-tip. Run him around an obstacle and empty a scatter shot into his back )
I think it’s a very difficult Halo on solo legendary, but only because of the boss fights. The rest of it is meh-difficulty.
I still think Halo 2 is the most difficult. Beam.Rifle.Jackels. nuff said. (pew, back to spawn)
What’d ya’ll think?
i thought this was the easiest legendary. the only part i had major issues with was i got a bad checkpoint in a mantis that was one hit away from blowing up and completly surrounded
tbh i find halo 2 and halo 2 ani easier on legendary than h5. mainly cause when you died you just teleported and restarted from the checkpoint but here god those idiot braindead AI’s have no selfpreservation at all, running into combat like unggoy on crack…that in combination with the weaker shields i think its pretty hard just too bad there isnt a speedrun as last level like halo 1’s the maw etc.
I did it. Even fairly fought the 3 wardens. Almost threw my Xbox but I did it. Wasn’t worth it, but now I have done something that’ll give me bragging rights for daysssssss.
Completed it, but bailed on the triple warden fight. None of the strats I used seemed to be making any sort of progress, so I just jumped over those -Yoinks!- and was on my way.
Completed it the other day. Agreed on the fact that it was meh-difficulty with the exception of the Warden fights. Those gave me some trouble but I finished it after almost pulling all my hair out.
Some sections on Sanghelios were a pain as well, like the snipers or wraiths, but nothing unmanageable. It was fun overall, just wish there were unlockable customization options for finishing it.
It’s too bad that we have to mention whether or not we stuck around for the 3 Wardens in mission 14 because some people found means of skipping it all together. There should definitely be an achievement for those of us who actually slayed them.
I did Legendary on co-op and have yet to start solo, but there isn’t much incentive as there is no unlock for doing so. Unlocks are a big part of the game and I feel I should just grind Warzone instead. I’ll probably get round to it at some point.

This. I didn’t even know we could skip them until after I took them down. Still, I did it with my team dead the whole time too. It wasn’t a pretty fight.

I doubt anyone who actually passed it would tell you it was a pretty fight. Cheers.
I knew spoilers would be in here but like a chuff I wanted to bring up the difficulty of Legendary. I am only three missions in, and during the 5 minute mess around I found Heroic was more difficult in the way the AI reacted, whereas Legendary AI is too predictable and I find it so much easier. Not liking the campaign story thus far, so many heavy weapons laying around on Legendary that I’ve stopped picking them up too, but on the flip side, one of the best multiplayer games to hit shelves.
zom
They should bring in the guy from Ninja Gaiden to design them a higher tier difficulty setting. On that I just had a right idea for a game mode, Zombies! I kiiiiid, I kiiiiid.

With the exception of a particular battle on Mission 14, the legendary campaign is a total breeze.
did it and loved the campaign on my opinion. also after the 12th time trying, i had all my team pick up incendiary cannons and killed the three wardens with ease.
also it took 12 tries because my team had stock weapons and i was out of ammo so i ran all the way back to get them all one
Fighting the Wardens was the only time through the entire Legendary Campaign that I felt that classic “This is so annoying.” reflex, and only because of the AI teammates’ tendencies when it came to reviving. Their whole: I’m on my way! Wait. Let me stop and think about this. Hm. Hmm. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Yeah. Okay! I’m on my way!

Cheers for the heads up, I’ll take them on if Fallout doesn’t rip me a new one first.
