With that aside, I don’t see why either of those would make a huge difference in game play. I find it much more frustrating to play Halo 4 when the friendly fire is constantly being turned off and on with different game modes. I feel like it should be on, or off for the majority of game modes.
I don’t understand why “descoping” would be a big deal. As for me, I remember plentiful times in 3 and Reach where I would get shot and my reflex would be to press the thumbstick to descope. Of course this would then scope me back in, they would shoot me again while I was frantically trying to descope the weapon and the process would continue until either I was dead or they lost the angle on me. Maybe that was just me though…
But let me reiterate, I don’t think either of those would dramatically affect gameplay.

The problem with Flinch is that you can’t really “suppress” snipers like you could in previous games, unintentionally making the snipers more powerful. Like, I don’t mind Flinch for short-medium range weapons like the Magnum or BR, but I feel like Descoping is necessary for sniper-class weaponry.

As much as I’d like that, 343i has openly stated several times that the return of Descope is a giant no no.
yes it was its because of theses so called gamers that halo 4 got so mest up in the first place

If a person picks up BR they can just spam an AR guy to death. If there was descoping the AR guy could have a chance because the BR guy would have to re focus balancing out the fact that BR guy has a superior range weapon. Or 343 could add Mag as secondary to balance it out.
Not really a big deal to me either but I understand it.

Anyways, I see what you’re saying with the descoping of the sniper. As a person who hardly uses the sniper (due to my inability to use long range weapons since Halo 3), only bringing back descoping for the long range weapon classes would make sense to me.

While I see this as a valid point for people to stop saying bring back Halo 3 comments, Legendary Slayer is Halo 3 in Halo 4. If this was a single aspect over all in Halo 4 I would be more than open to it. But as I recall this thread was created
for Legendary Slayer, not Halo 4 in general.

People would like stuff to return but not a total identical remake of halo 3 thats all. When someone says to bring back something good from previous games people actually support it and don’t make comments like that
Its difficult to do since they have recode parts of the game for descope so its not coming back into halo 4 which im indifferent on

Without bringing in the much larger topic of what Halo 4 is and what 343 has done to improve/regress the game as well as dive into the topic of what gamers want with Halo and what we should want I’ll try to make this short.
As I recall this thread was about Legendary Slayer improvements, so I would recommend you stick with that. Broadening up to give your opinions on Halo 4 is not what this thread was about nor what it needed.
I do enjoy how as the creator of this thread you have little to contribute to the conversation, other than “Halo 4 sucks 'cause of these guys”.
I recommend you stick to your created thread topic, otherwise you should make a new thread on what you think of Halo 4.
