Legendary Slayer Magnum

I’m extremely happy about the Legendary Slayer playlist coming out, I just believe that a magnum should be secondary and I know that other people feel the same. Maybe the more people talk about it, we can get 343’s attention and they can just add it in before the release. If not, it’s still okay because the playlist will be fun, I just believe that with the magnum as your secondary the player will have a chance to defend against BR’s. Any thoughts?

Yea I don’t see the point in not adding it as secondary but they probably know something I don’t.

I’m pretty sure they didn’t add it because it can pretty easily outmatch an AR at medium range, so at the beginning of spawn, everyone would immediately switch to their pistols. Sounds like Halo: CE.

Yah, but if one team manages to control the precision spawn areas, it’ll be a one-sided slaughterfest given the maps that are being used. Magnums would be able to prevent that.

That happened in Halo 2 and Halo 3 too, which is why Bungie added BR starts.

At close range I’d rather be having an AR than Magnum. And maps like haven that AR will be used quite heavily.

I disagree, the AR in this game is pretty powerful and it takes half a clip to kill someone, the magnum when spammed is inaccurate and it takes nearly a whole clip to kill someone, so I’d say it’s evenly matched, making it necessary or welcomed to have it as a secondary to help against a long range opponent

Yah. Just think about how those hallways on Haven will play if your team only has ARs and the other has a couple of BRs. Magnums give you a chance. ARs get you exterminated.

People need to make just as much of an effort to ask for no sprint. I rather have this over a secondary starting weapon.

I just want one playlist with no sprint. I don’t see how they could have missed this.

The AR, when spammed, takes more than a whole clip to kill someone. The magnum takes six shots to kill if you aim which is almost an entire clip, but it has a very fast reload time.

As long as you basically hit every shot you can take them out with a mag or less
