So I had a talk with a monitor here on the forums and it was because I was first about remaking a post and thsn he told me that 343 is aware of a classic playlist and that they release Legendary Slayer next month!

Maybe there is no sprint? Dont have a repky back with that info if i will get that info.

343i haven’t announced a date for Legendary Slayer yet other than late Spring/early Summer.
Legendary Slayer isn’t going to be a classic playlist, it is a semi-competitive mix between Team Throwdown and Infinity Slayer.
Anything from Infinity isn’t classic.
But he still confirmed it will be released next month. My guess is probably June 3rd when the weapon tune update arrives.

Wulfwood doesn’t know the date, like I said, he’s a forum moderator not a 343i employee.
343i haven’t confirmed a release date other than a really rough timeframe.

I think there is big chance that he is right and that he knows it because he wouldnt say that if it wasnt right?

They aren’t going to release it the day the weapon changes go live, they will want people to actually play the new sandbox tweaks in all other playlists before they push out Legendary Slayer which is going to have alternate sandbox tweaks.

Well he has no source for a start, we haven’t heard anything on Legendary Slayer other than it is coming late spring/early summer and that was back at PAX.
I can only guess that Wulf assumed the release would be next month because of the rough time frame we got, but even then that might change.

I was assuming that the playlist would be launched when the weapon tuning updates go live, as that would make the most sense. Seems this is not the case. Apologies. Unless you hear it from BS Angel or Bravo, take things with a grain of salt.

Someone got a bit excited heh.
Haha was excited for the playlist and I thought when you told me that it made more excited so i made a post xD. Nevermind still had some good talks about it here haha
