First off I’m not saying we need a playlist permanently for this, maybe a weekend thing.
I would like anew arena playlist that has no sprint, no ground pound and no thurster packs. With forge maps that are orignal and from old halo maps.
Maybe even have h2 br starts
We know it can be done look at infection with custom settings the infected can’t sprint or use ground pound. I know its not an easy thing to do but why not do it as a special playlist just to see how halo 5 could play on old school maps. If my idea is dumb that’s fine
Fantastic idea. I 343 would do it, it would bring back HALO veterans. I’m 100% with HALO 5’s playstyle but i would love to play that kind os playlist.
Call it something like “Classic Arena” or “Classic Slayer”.
Or call it “Old-school arena/slayer”

I would play the -Yoink- out of this. Even more so if it was FFA, but I could see why 4v4 would be better in this circumstance.
I wouldn’t mind this seeing as I’m a fan of the old and new.

I agree. The name should be Classic for sure.
I’ve tried doing this sort of thing on any number of remakes. It… doesn’t quite work. It really depends on how faithful the map is to the original.

See that’s why I would want all the new abilities disabled maybe even chamber. I know with the halo 5 formula old maps can’t be played the same but if you remove that you can.
Also I do agree it should be called classic maybe we could even get it out for the 4th of July weekend.
I would be down for a playlist like that. I don’t know why they don’t do it.
