I just spent 5 hrs playing the level Infinity on legendary on halo 4 and it says i have completed it on my stats but on my commendations it says it is still not complete. Can anyone help because i am not going through that again.
the only thing that i can think of is that i was disconnected from live during the middle of the game but that should have not have affected the mission at all.
I believe the system does not count it if you go offline. I think it requires you to be connected throughout the entire campaign.
I haven’t experienced it myself but from what others are saying this sounds like the issue.

And that’s almost impossible. I always get disconnect from Xbox Live when playing the campaign.
You must get through the entire level while online. If it disconnects (as it did with me multiple time), then you have to restart. If you can, try to play with more then one person. It doesn’t need to be done on solo.
