Will the Helioskrill armor that looks a bit like a Covenant Elite, that lore says it was crafted by a member of that race, be in Halo 5 like it was in the beta?
If so, would you think the only way to use/unlock the helmet is beating the Master Chiefs entire campaign on Legendary difficultly or could it just be unlocked through progression?
I’m curious since I think the helmet looks fantastic and am curious of any details behind the armor.
Through MCC Legend only.
If it were obtainable through progression it would lose all rarity. If you havent done MCC on legendary, dont worry. I play very casually in halo most of the time and i unlocked it before the beta even ended. NakedEli on youtube made a full guide of al 4 halos on legendary for people.

One question tho. Can it be co-op or does it have to be solo Legendary? I forget what it was.

It can be done either solo or in co-op, my friend!

Yaaaay! I may try to do it then. I’ll need a pretty good squad tho, since I don’t normally play Legendary. I’ve played 3 and 4 on legendary, but never have I put boots in CE and 2’s horror-story legendary mode.

I’ve beaten all the Halos on Legendary, but I’m not a huge fan of the Helioskrill prize. I was actually one of few looking forward to a Limited Collectors Edition armor set… But whatever. To each their own.

Hopefully just MCC legendary or else it would take away the accomplishment of getting the armor. It’s not that bad anyways I did it well before the beta started.
I actually finished all 4 campaigns solo on legendary a month ago as long as you do a few missions per day you should finish in 2 weeks or so.
I had Helioskrill in the beta. Felt like a champ.
Had all my Legendary runs done within the first month of MCC’s release. I’m honestly surprised people are still working on it.
Such a weird armour.
The Helioskrill helmet needs to be smaller. It is the biggest helmet in the game and paints a big target on your skull. The hitboxes are bigger than the actual body, but the Helioskrill fills up the hitbox to full, so if you are crouched behind cover, the very top of your head will be visible, and you can get sniped easily. It happened to me in the Halo 5 Beta, and since then I only use small helmets like Scout.
