So, as we all know, Halos 1, 3, and 4 include Legendary endings.
Since Halo 2 seems to be the primary focus in this collection, why not add in a little something to those who complete the game on legendary and make it an achievement? It shouldn’t be too hard, it would make fans extremely happy, and further the overall consistency of this enourmous and quite amazing project.

EDIT: Also, how will 343i handle the credits and the normal post-credits scenes? Will they be included or will all the credits be streamlined into one huge thing?

That’s actually the normal ending, similar to Halo 3s cryo-sleep scene. Now that I think of it though, does Halo: CE have a post-credits scene? Or do all of the epilouge scenes happen before the credits?

In that case, I think the OP is right …they ought to. Well, we know the game is coming with an additional epilogue, but I’m sure they’ll put something extra in there that unlocked via legendary.
That’s scary to me though, as Halo CE & Halo 2 are the only games I never completed on Legendary … one shot sniper kill. Too much.

The CE Legendary ending was the scene with Johnson hugging the Elite. iirc it did appear after the credits rolled, but I do remember the short scene with Spark floating through space running after the credits as well.

The Original version did(not sure about anniversary long credits and all) it shows 343 flying threw space the into the bungie logo.

The Hug between Johnson and the Elite was after you boarded the Longsword. The Spark floating in space was after the credits.
So every game features a post-credits scene and a legendary easer-egg of some sort that provides some sort of canon, reveal, or tease with the exception of Halo 2 which only features a post-credits scene.

You’re probably right, and I’m remembering incorrectly.
Well, Halo 2 Anniversary is supposed to have “Prologue” and “Epilogue” cinematics. Maybe they could add a Legendary ending with one of those? Or maybe a secret ending that is only accessible if you grind all the way through all 4 campaigns in one sitting.

I am betting the added pro and epilogue are at the beginning of CE and the end of 4. It makes no sense to have them just at the beginning and end of H2.
