Yes, you heard those words, “armor lock” from Halo Reach. I’m pretty sure everyone had some “sweet” memories back in Reach. Back to my main focus here, I feel that the Legendary Elite and Soldier bosses are too easy to kill in a normal Warzone match. For example, when the Legendary Elite boss spawn in the cargo dock of March on Stormbreak, a player can easily splatter the Elite with a Ghost or Banshee. Another example is the Legendary Soldier boss on Skirmish at Darkstar in the colony area, a player can melee the boss and will instantly die. I would like to see armor lock on these bosses so they can’t be easily splattered or backstabbed by the player and this would encourage the team to use their weapons and REQs to defeat the boss.
Yeah they need it like they need a hole in the head.
This game is bad enough without armor lock.
Please don’t return Armour Lock no matter what format it’s represented in. That can easily go to the garbage and be forgotten.
I loath the day armor lock ever appears in halo ever again. How about they just make the spawns more random so players can camp and splatter rather than bringing in the worse thing that was ever in Halo next to Spartan charge?
Or at least take away the waypoint/counter so it makes it a bit more difficult to know which round and where they are spawning at?
I disagree. They have superior shields and armor, respectively, adding armor lock isn’t needed. And besides, how do you call in a Ghost? You use a req card. Adding armor lock just prolongs the life of a boss in a negative way, especially if there are mythic ones to take out in the same round.
I like armour lock. This idea of making infantry bosses have armour lock is a good idea. It should be available to infantry bosses except knights and hunters. There should also be a boss with legendary difficulty jackal snipers… H2 Style
